AI or Not?

Can you tell the difference? Update it weekly and keep them guessing.

A rotating weekly gallery where students examine images, text, art, and more — voting AI-generated or human-made, then debating: does the source change the value?

What's inside

AI or Not? is designed to be the most-discussed door in the building. Each week, three to six items are posted — a mix of AI-generated and human-made images, poems, paragraphs, or design concepts — and students vote using sticky dots. On Friday, reveal envelopes are opened and the class debates what gave it away (or didn't). The permanent 'Big Question of the Week' strip below the gallery keeps the conversation going through Thursday: 'If you can't tell the difference, does it matter who made it?' 'What makes something authentically human-made?' Takes ten minutes per week to update. Suggested item types and a semester's worth of big questions are included in the package. Grades 4-12.
